Mr Ko is a lawyer and has been duly admitted in Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and England. He holds a Bachelor of Law from University of London. Has also Postgraduate Certificate in Law from University of Hong Kong and a Diploma in Chinese Laws from University of Macau. He was appointed Consultant to the Chinese Law Legal Centre in Beijing, China in 1990.
Mr Ko has over 30 years experience in China Trade and Cross Border Transactions. He has been involved in mining and resources projects related to coal, iron ore, crude oil, uranium, rock phosphate, gold and copper since the late 90’s.
Mr Ko has been Consultant and Coordinator for Hong Kong and Chinese companies which wish to invest in mining, energy, resources, land acquisition and mine management education. These projects cover countries including China, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Africa, South America, Russia and other parts of the world.
Thermal coal and coking coal are Mr Ko’s predominant areas of expertise.
Mr Ko is a member and is involved in Asia Mining Club since its beginning and also Sydney Mining Club. He has been a strong supporter of Mines and Money Conferences and Exhibitions in Hong Kong. He is also as a Advisor to the Hong Kong Mining Investment Professional Association.
